After medical school, Dr. Lee was accepted into a highly competitive integrated residency program at the University of Massachusetts, where he completed 6 years of plastic surgery training and served as administrative chief resident during his last year. Afterwards, he completed an additional year of advanced cosmetic surgery at one of the most prestigious aesthetic fellowships in the country - Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina del Rey, the Rox Center in Beverly Hills, and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

In addition, he has trained with some of the top plastic surgeons in Chelmsford, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Dr. Lee has published numerous articles in peer reviewed scientific journals, presented at multiple national conferences, and continues to advance the field of plastic surgery through his clinical work. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). When he is not in surgery, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife as they explore new restaurants and new parts of the world. He has a love for travel, historic homes, real estate, food, wine, and photography.
