At-Home Numbing Instructions PURE Cosmetic Center In Boston & Chelmsford, MA

Application Instructions:
Apply the numbing cream 60 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

• Wash the treatment area with your normal cleanser and water.
• Pat the skin completely dry with a towel.
• Do not apply anything to the skin. No serums, no lotions, no makeup, no sunscreen, etc.
• Apply a thick, even layer of numbing cream to the treatment area. It should be thick like a “Got Milk” commercial or like putting white frosting on a cake.
• Do not rub the cream in—leave it sitting on top of the skin.
• It is important that you keep the treatment areas uncovered so that the numbing cream does not accidentally rub off on clothing.
• Leave this numbing cream on your skin for 60 minutes. The cream will slowly absorb into your skin and turn into a clear dry layer.
• When you arrive, one of our providers will remove the cream before beginning treatment.

Additional Safety Reminders:

• Use only as directed.
• Do not apply to broken, irritated, or infected skin.
• Avoid getting in the eyes, in the nose, or in the mouth.
